In a new video, Park Place Live CEO Mark Parkinson welcomes Reimbursement Reimagined, or R2, to the team as the site’s latest sponsor, bringing the company’s expertise in reimbursement to the forefront.

In an interview with Amy Goldsmith, R2’s COO, the pair talk about the ever-evolving reimbursement space and what that means to the skilled nursing sector.

A Zimmet Healthcare Services Group unit, R2, provides scalable solutions for remote MDS completion, outsourced case management, and reimbursement oversight.

“Our whole mission is really to help improve the success of these communities, capturing all the acuity, all the care that they're delivering and really working alongside them to really improve their overall processes,” Goldsmith said.

To do so, the organization has created an army of MDS nurses and therapists who have a multitude of experience.

“They've been in the industry, worked in operations, worked as regionals, worked as MDS nurses, so they really understand the flow and the operations of the facility,” she said.

“They really know what the community's struggles are, and so they're really able to partner right alongside the community teams, really identify their specific barriers, and pivot to their needs.”
