October 1, 2023, is approaching quickly! With it comes a new MDS 3.0 RAI Manual and Item Sets v1.18.11. This is more than just a simple update. The latest version includes MDS Item Set changes related to health equity and the QRP Transfer of Health Information measure, as well as additional assessment items that have ramifications on care planning and facility processes. This FREE webinar, presented by our experts, will highlight the new MDS and provide essential information to ensure the interdisciplinary team is prepared and ready for success.
Objectives
- Identify the MDS sections with changes or new items on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) Nursing Home Comprehensive (NC) Final Item Set v.1.18.11
- Explain each MDS item and its relationship to Quality Initiatives
- Discuss planning for the change in facility systems and supportive documentation requirements for the interdisciplinary team
- Review the Optional State Assessment (OSA) v.1.0 completion instructions
