Chief Innovation Officer
Steven is the Chief Innovation Officer at Zimmet Healthcare Services Group. He is widely recognized as an accomplished author and influential speaker in healthcare and post-acute care. Throughout his career, Steven has excelled at simplifying complex information to inspire strategic and tactical excellence.
He has delivered keynote programs for various national and state healthcare associations, including NIC, DRI, AHLA, HCCA, LTC 100, Senior Care 360, REITs, HUD, and commercial lenders, receiving acclaim for his presentations. Steven has authored numerous journal articles and a popular monthly blog in McKnight’s Long-Term Care News.
With over 30 years of experience, he has worked in various healthcare roles, from direct nursing care to education, research, analytics, and quality improvement. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont and a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. He is also a committee member for the Partnership for Quality Measurement Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review Committee (PAC-LTC Committee), where he supports the Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review (PRMR) process. Previously he was appointed Technical Expert Panel for Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing Program Expansion
For two decades, Steven served as Chief Clinical Officer and Executive Vice President at PointRight, Inc., helping it become a leader in data analytics in the healthcare industry.
Steven is a Board-certified gerontological clinical specialist and is passionate about promoting quality care for the elderly population in our nation.
