Marinela Shqina currently serves as the Managing Director of Finance at Zimmet Healthcare Services Group, where she brings a wealth of experience in healthcare financial management. With over 15 years of dedicated involvement in the Skilled Nursing Facilities sector, Marinela has played a pivotal role in enhancing the financial performance of numerous long-term care facilities. Her professional journey has encompassed various positions, including Senior Accountant, CFO, and most recently, she served as the Senior Director of Financial Services for Pine Run Retirement Community, a Division of Doylestown Hospital.

Marinela initiated her academic pursuit by studying Computer Science at the Università degli Studi di Milano in Milan, Italy. Subsequently, she moved to the United States, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
