Director of Quality Innovations
Amy M. Greer, BSN, BA, RN, RAC-CT, DNS-CT, is an RN Quality Innovative Consultant with a wealth of expertise in the Five-Star Quality Measure Systems, Mock Surveys, QAPI initiatives, and PDPM. With over thirteen years of experience in Long-Term Care, Amy’s clinical background and in-depth knowledge of CMS Survey regulations have been instrumental in elevating facility Five-Star Ratings throughout her career.
Amy’s professional journey has encompassed a diverse array of roles, including Sub-Acute Nurse Manager, Director of Quality Management and Staff Development, Director of Nursing Services, Staff Educator, and Infection Preventionist. Her dedication to quality care extended to New York Presbyterian-Hudson Valley Hospital, where she served in the Quality Department as the Core Measures Specialist/Sepsis Coordinator.
Her educational journey includes a BA in English from Saint Joseph’s University in 1997 and a BS in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021. After two years of frontline experience battling the challenges of the COVID pandemic in a skilled nursing facility, Amy made the pivotal decision to dedicate her career to enhancing the quality of life for all skilled nursing facility residents, while also providing invaluable guidance and support to clinical staff.
Amy is a proud member of AAPACN and holds both RAC-CT and DNS-CT certifications, further underlining her commitment to excellence in long-term care.
